Who are we?

The following terms and conditions listed below will apply between you and My Ideal Gifts for the sale and purchase of the items contained in your basket. The terms do not affect the consumers statutory rights.

Copyright

All rights, including copyright, in the content of these My Ideal Gifts web pages are owned or controlled for these purposes by the My Ideal Gifts. In accessing the My Ideal Gifts web pages, you agree that you may only download the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store (in any medium), transmit, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the content of these My Ideal Gifts web pages for any other purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of the My Ideal Gifts.

Validity

By ordering a product you accept these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Pricing of products are correct at the time of entering information, however, we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

Delivery

All orders are dispatched using our trusted dispatch network, ensuring that your order will reach you in the same state that it left the My Ideal Gifts warehouse. All orders once dispatched should reach you within 3 to 5 working days.

We do not charge any extra to dispatch goods to any rural parts of the UK, all you pay is a flat rate fixed postage and packaging charge of £4.95, regardless of how many items you order.

We now also dispatch globally to mainland Europe and the USA. The postage and packaging for this service is a little more expensive, however we only charge you the customer the rate which we get charged ourselves from our couriers.

Once again with International orders, a fixed flat rate charge applies regardless of the number of items that are purchased. However with International orders, the greater the order quantity the longer the delivery period, up to a maximum of 59 days.

Our normal one item delivery time is 5 working days from dispatch, something we feel is within keeping of the My Ideal Gifts ethos of offering excellent customer service and great value for money.

Availability of Goods

My Ideal Gifts has a large stock selection to call upon, which ensures that dispatch is usually between 1 - 3 working days. However due to the individual nature of the project, the item you request may have need to be painted specifically for your order which could mean that dispatch is anything from 1 - 10 working days.

We will inform you of estimated delivery time at the time of your order been placed. If you require your order before a specific date please state this is in the order comments box.

Acknowledgment of Order

When you have completed your order you will be sent an e-mail confirming your order. It will state what the products are, the cost (including VAT and P&P) and delivery and invoice details. If your order has been unsuccessful you will be made aware of the reason why and possible explanations. Please be aware that some email providers could wrongly "move" this email to a "spam" folder. As such we recommend that you check this folder if your confirmation doesnt arrive.

Payment

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

All credit and debit card transactions are handled by My Ideal Network, using the secure payment system of PayPal. There is no extra fee to the customer for this service.

PayPal is an industry recognised secure payment provider, all transactions on this site are carried out using Nochexs secure payment system. This ensures that you can be assured that all your payment details are kept safe and secure.

Returns

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected if, for any reason, you wish to return a product bought from My Ideal Gifts. All gifts can be returned if you are not happy within 14 days of delivery. Please ensure that you have contacted Customer Services using the Contact Form on the contact page before returning any goods.

Force majeure

My Ideal Gifts shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

Subject to any relevant consumer protection legislation including our obligation under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) to give you a refund, if you cancel your contract, if we do not perform the contract within 30 days or other agreed timescale our liability for any breach of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the value of the goods ordered by you in the relevant transaction.

Safe Shopping - secure guarantee

The My Ideal Gifts places great importance on maintaining the security of the information that you provide and for this reason we use advanced Internet security system to safeguard your data. All the data that you send through, including your credit/debit card number and name and address, is encrypted and converted into code before it is transmitted across the Internet. Therefore in the extremely unlikely event that the data should be intercepted, it would be encrypted and difficult to decipher.

Invalidity of Terms and Conditions

If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable; the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Contracts between you and My Ideal Gifts shall be governed by English Law and you and My Ideal Gifts submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
